My name is Ayannah Page, I am from Birmingham, Alabama, and I study Chemistry at Tuskegee University.

Since the beginning of my school career, math and science have been my favorite subjects, particularly science because of its correlation with life and the human body. In my sophomore year of high school I was introduced to chemistry and immediately fell in love as it is a combination of my favorite subjects.

My career goals have always been centered on science and in my sophomore year of high school I decided to become a Dermatologist. I chose this profession because I love caring for my skin as well as the hair and nails. I also enjoy doing makeup and I one day a wish to create a line of cosmetics including specialized skin care and makeup products. My ultimate career goal is to find cures for common skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

2016 2nd Place Winner

Since Chautauqua 2016, where I was awarded the E, Bernice Harris Scholarship, I am doing well in college. I am a student-athlete at Delaware State University. I was blessed to receive a full scholarship there due to my academic and athletic abilities which I’m grateful for.

My studies are going well and I am on pace to graduate in the next couple of years. I am majoring in Marketing and will go back to college once I am finished my Marketing degree to become a Physical Trainer. By becoming a Physical Trainer, this will allow me to help the body of Christ to live in our bodies and long as we let the spirit to dwell in us.

On the athletic side of things, I am in competition to start at the offensive line at DSU for this coming season. Last season I played in every game and started 3 games as a true freshman. This upcoming season I am looking to better my skills on the field and to be one of the top players on the team. I am also making preparations to be one of the top workers in the classroom and out on the football field.

TRIUMPHANT GREETINGS OF ALL HAIL!

My name is Maliah Wright, and I am from Okeechobee, Florida. I was one of the recipients of the E. Bernice Harris Scholarship Essay Competition from Chautauqua 2016. Since that time, I have graduated from high school and transitioned into college life as a young adult. I’ll be starting my second year of college this Fall at Indian River State College where I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. My ultimate goal is to become a Pediatric Nurse.

In addition to graduating high school, I’ve also earned a Certified Nursing Assistant License, and I have been working at Publix supermarket for more than 2 years now. I’m still happily attending my local church services nearly every Sunday including the Advanced Schools of Wisdom. My sign language ministry, Signs & Wonders Ministry, is still thriving and blessing so many people including myself. I am now teaching sign language to my younger sister and cousin. God is so good!

I want to thank the Almighty God for bringing me this far helping me every step of the way on this journey. These past 2 years have been somewhat of a whirlwind, but I thank God for Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ every day of my life. I now know what it really means to TRIUMPH! It means any person, young and old alike, must have a mind and an attitude that they can overcome, subdue, and conquer everything that’s not like God. I’d also like to thank the National Youth Education Department for the work they do to support the youth of Triumph Church are provide the financial support they may need while attending college. I am grateful indeed and working hard each day to be “the change I wish to see in the world”.  I’ll continue to strive for success in my life and keep GOD & TRIUMPH THE CHURCH in the forefront.

All in all, I can say that God is Faithful and God Is Good All The Time! Please keep me in your prayers.

TRIUMPHANT GREETINGS OF ALL HAIL!
